Braun Intertec Temporary Construction Materials Lab Technician in Bloomington, Minnesota

Braun Intertec is seeking a Entry-Level Materials Laboratory Testing Technician to join our Bloomington, MN office. The primary responsibility of the position is to receive and prepare concrete, soil, and aggregate specimens and prepare them for testing for the next shift. Candidates should be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis, take direction and work well with a team. This position starts at $23/hr. No experience required. We will train you. This is a temporary position that runs from now through November. Responsibilities: • Receive and sort materials • Test concrete cylinders • Testing of proctor and other soil samples • Process soil and aggregate samples • Maintain work equipment The ideal candidate will have: • A demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical concepts • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • A safety focus and attention to detail • Related work experience in materials testing or construction is a plus All candidates must have: • A High School diploma or equivalent • A valid driver's license with clean driving record • The ability to lift 50+ pounds Braun Intertec is a Drug-Free Workplace and require all new hires to complete a pre-employment drug screen test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
