Job Description: Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support for systems solutions sold into North America s Logistics Markets. Utilize the full line of SICK s products to meet market needs for automatic identification products, including: Line Scanner Solutions, Omni Directional Systems, Camera Systems, Dimensioners and Vision Systems. Provide support through a system s lifecycle from concept phase to system design and fabrication, assembly, installation and the technical solution to meet the need of customer. Develop bill of materials (BOM) to encompass full project scope. Provide pre-sales technical support to internal as well as external customers. Provide training on SICK s system solution to field service technicians, installation contractors and customers. Evaluate new technical solutions to address product gaps and provide feedback to the engineering team. Perform market research to stay up-to-date on advancements in Industry. Validate solutions of new products. Provide continuous, post-sale, escalated, technical support to customers. Position is fix-based in Bloomington, MN however, telecommuting from a home office is permitted up to five (5) days per week.
