The Life Sciences Operations team is looking for a Production Supervisorto join our team! This person will provide oversite to operators and production staff in our plant facility. This role allows for a unique opportunity to work in a plant while also getting involved in corporate meetings and communications. The work in this plant is exciting as we expand differentiated technologies that position us as a market leader in our target markets. Key responsibilities and qualifications for success in this role are listed below. Role Responsibilities: Supervising and leading assigned production departmentincluding assignment ofwork and promoting team work. Completingperformance management process for all hourlyemployees. Scheduling work andensureequipment is maintained. Assisting with development and management ofthe department's budget. Coachingemployees through the problem-solving process to identify problem. areasincluding manufacturing processes, reducing set up time, equipment problems and reducing scrap. Training employees on procedures, methods, problem solving, prints, programming, quality requirements, team methods and safety. Educatingemployees in the safety requirements of their department and Plant. Coaching operators on safety improvements, department inspections, safety surveys and follows up on safety issues. Auditing product quality for compliance with established systems and standards; implements corrective action as necessary. Maintainingquality certification requirements and initiatives. Resolving employee relation issues through effective remediation techniques. Promoting and implementingLean Manufacturing initiatives Assisting with achieving Plant Metrics including but not limited to Earned Hours Worked and Safety. Administering corrective action as needed per plant policy and guidelines Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma 7+ years of manufacturing, production, quality and/or engineering experience 4+ years' experience in a Lead or Supervisory level role Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Experience working in Medical Device or highly regulated environment Experience using Oracle ERP Key words: production, supervisor, operators, life sciences, new product development, oracle Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
