Internal Audit Manager As an Internal Audit Manager at United Bankers Bank, you play a crucial role in improving the utilization and efficiency of management and bank resources by providing expert-level recommendations for improvement and implementation. Your expertise will strengthen internal controls, verify the accuracy of essential records, and uphold the reputational standards of United Bankers Bank. Ideal candidate will be located in the Twin Cities and work a hybrid schedule in office 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday. Essential Responsibilities Completion of the Bank s annual risk assessment process, including process owner interviews, response documentation, and audit plan development. Performance of independent financial and operational audits following procedures to ensure adequate scope coverage and testing the design and operation of controls, which mitigate risks relevant to the organization. Review of Bank documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and conformity to laws, policies, and procedures. Responsible for coordination, agenda preparation and presentation at Audit Committee, which includes the results of procedures performed by the activity and any necessary proposals to be approved. Presenting Management and the Audit Committee with any issues noted, including the root cause, proposing corrective action, and monitoring the progress of resolution. Scoping, planning, and performance of the Bank s annual ICFR testing in conjunction with the financial statement audit, utilizing the COSO framework and methodology. Serves as an expert resource for department managers on audit methodology, proper internal controls, and risk management; recommends and assists UBB departments in the development of best practices and procedures. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CIA preferred 3+ years of audit experience for a financial institution including FDICIA compliance Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
