The Position
Getac is searching for an Information Systems Security Manager. This position is responsible for implementing and managing information security controls within Getac's information systems. You will be required to manage resources and collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance Getac's business objectives while reducing information security risk. You will be required to identify security issues and propose and execute remediation strategies.
Essential Functions
Resiliency
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Resiliency program. Work closely with information technology staff in the development and maintenance of playbooks detailing the recovery of critical Getac assets.
• Establish the required policies, processes, and procedures required to maintain Resilience program.
• Prepare and conduct Tabletop Exercises.
• Modify Resiliency approach based on Tabletop Exercises
Incident Response
• Participate in incident response activities as an incident responder, a subject matter expert, and/or a liaison to technology and business teams.
• Respond to incidents in accordance with incident response plans.
Vulnerability Management
• Support the continuous improvement of the vulnerability management program.
• Assist with processes around Vulnerability Management and Risk Management
• Develop regular reporting to executive leadership regarding identified security vulnerabilities and recommended mitigation strategies.
• Validate and document vulnerability management practices across entire organization.
Threat Intelligence
• Identify, track, and communicate threats and vulnerabilities that may impact the organization.
• Find and interpret threat intelligence based on identified organizational risks.
• Contribute to performing risk assessments of third party partners and vendors
Physical Security
• Establish physical security procedures, such as access control and visitor management.
• Conduct physical security assessments to identify potential risks based on location, structure, security requirements.
General
• Evangelize security at all levels of the organization.
• Support information security compliance mandates and efforts of the Compliance Manager
• Other duties as assigned.
Competencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders, including managers and executives.
• Information technology fluency, including with respect to data security and privacy
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field, or significant professional experience in cybersecurity
5-7+ years' experience managing information security systems
Prior experience implementing security controls required by ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and other information security compliance frameworks.
Preferred Education and Experience
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Other relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA Security +
