Scholarship America Finance Analyst (Hybrid-Bloomington or St Peter, MN; or Remote) in Bloomington, Minnesota

The Finance Analyst is responsible for key financial processes and projects to provide data-driven insights related to financial performance. These insights are used to monitor progress toward financial objectives, to forecast future performance and to advise and develop strategies for improvement throughout the organization. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for elements of core financial processes including but not limited to the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, monthly reporting and variance analysis, cash flow modeling/debt compliance and longer-range financial planning Perform monthly revenue analyses and reconciliations, for fee-for-service products as well as fundraising activities Support month/quarter/year-end financial close processes Assist in collection, organization, and validation of financial data from multiple sources Develop and track Key Performance Indicators and reporting tools to measure success against financial goals and enhance transparency on performance/trends Partner cross-functionally on key analytical projects in support of pricing initiatives, cost to serve analyses, business case development, and other ad-hoc projects Communicate findings through data visualization and reports understandable to both finance and non-finance audiences REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience 1-3 years of financial planning and analysis experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven results in impacting business performance Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including advanced skills in Excel Ability to work effectively both individually and in a collaborative, team setting with a results oriented approach Highly organized, strong attention to detail in order to produce the highest quality work, including follow up and follow through Ability to multi-task by prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving business situations and financial needs PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of data analytic/reporting tools such as Power BI a plus Proficiency in data extraction methods in order to leverage analytic and reporting tools Full Pay range: Exempt ($51,900 - $64,900 - $77,900) This is the pay range for our staff in this position, from entry to fully independent and proficient in the role utilizing our propriety systems and processes. The candidate selected for this position will be offered a wage applicable to their background and skill set as aligned to our business. This will result in an initial offer between $51,900 - $68,000 annually for this position.
