Job Details: Hours - Full-time, 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday Pay - $26 - $27 / hour Location - 5601 American Blvd W, Bloomington, MN 55437 - Amira Bloomington Retirement Community Benefits: 401(k) Match Paid Vacation and Sick Time Paid Holidays Affordable Healthcare Benefits Tuition Discounts Community Experience Assistant Responsibilities: Resident Experience: Assist the Resident Experience Director in planning, coordinating, implementing, and directing a balanced and engaging activity program with the intent of including all residents in areas of programming and activities of their preference. Keeps detailed information available to residents regarding local area restaurants, shops, delivery places, and other pertinent information that may be of interest to residents. Maintains relationships and contacts with concierge vendors to offer residents. Assist with the operation of the Community's library, craft area and woodshop and other activity and common spaces Manage the community's in-house television channel, and Resident Portal, including holding resident and staff trainings on the portal. Assist the Resident Experience Director in coordinating and contracting with lecturers, vendors, performers, etc. who can provide programming and events for residents. Lead and attend resident functions, which may take place outside of normal business hours Resident Services: Greets prospects and residents as they enter the office/leasing area and ensure the comforts of prospects and visitors while they wait to speak with a team member. Answers phone calls, routes all calls to the appropriate team member for assistance and assists with completed service request call backs as necessary. Posting of all daily activities and other events to DirecTV My Channel Record maintenance requests and communicate all significant maintenance issues to the Community Manager. Manages all package deliveries by documenting arrival information and notifying residents of all package deliveries within 24 business hours. Maintains tracking logs for equipment rentals, dry cleaning services, and/or other services provided by the community. Accounting & Accounts Payable: Move in new residents and move out former residents on property management system and communicate such information to Great Lakes Management Company (GLMC) Accounting. Manage the rent collection process, including the sending of late rent letters and the posting of late rent charges, and communicate significant collection issues to the Community Manager. Review outstanding balances detailed on GLMC's Summarized Aged Receivable report and submit written action plan/update to site's corporate supervisor. Leasing: Maintain current knowledge regarding apartment floor plans, availability, rates, leasing specials and features. Conduct leasing tours of property in the absence of Community Manager/Leasing Staff or as needed. Assist the Community Manager in monitoring client files to ensure that the staff is quickly processing the application and lease signing. Community Experience Assistant Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Property management, leasing, customer service and/or supervisory experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications Word, Outlook, and Excel. Knowledge of basic property management accounting practices and procedures. Knowledge of basic building maintenance, landscaping and grounds and housekeeping practices and procedures. Must possess a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and access to a vehicle and the state-mandated level of automobile insurance.
