Description

Lakeshore Beverage is seeking a skilled delivery representatives with great customer service skills and knowledge of the local market. This is a full-time regular position, Tuesday through Friday, starting at 5 a.m. and ending when all deliveries are complete.

Typical Duties include:

  • Drive commercial delivery trucks, van and/or tractor-trailer combinations to deliver products

  • Build strong partnerships with retailers by building displays, filling coolers and merchandising retail accounts with permanent and temporary point of sale items

  • Maintain product freshness through proper rotation

  • Complete and turn in all company paperwork, invoices, display forms, load sheets, and cash/checks within appropriate timeframes

The Delivery Driver is expected to unload each accounts order, place it in the designated area inside the accounts facility, fill all coolers and shelves, merchandise/face and straighten all products in the retail space, and rotate stock appropriately according to expiration date. The Rep is responsible for maintaining product freshness by moving products as necessary, and will maintain a high level of neatness and cleanliness in each stores displays and coolers.

This is a physically demanding job. A high level of fitness and dexterity is required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL with up-to-date medical certification in compliance with DOT regulations

  • Safe driving record

  • High school diploma or GED certificate

  • Previous consumer product delivery experience preferred

  • Comfort level with computer based mobility units

  • Professional manner and appearance

  • Customer service and team orientation

  • Ability to lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 165lbs

  • Ability to safely operate job related equipment (i.e Job Requirements. hand truck, pallet jacks)

  • Ability to handle and manage cash
