Requirements Registered Nurse - Acute Care; Part Time Shifts: Nights 7:00 pm - 7:00 am Weekends: As needed Holidays: Occasionally On-Call: Occasionally Base Rate: $25.97 - $32.90/hour 2nd shift differential = $2.50/hour 3rd shift differential = $3.50/hour

Job Summary: Knows and applies current nursing theory, principles of care and nursing procedures in performing the following functions appropriate to the age of the patient, maintains a safe and clean care environment, quality improvement, assists in the supervision of the Patient Care Technician, actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives if Davis County Hospital and performs other duties as requested. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Training: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing. Bachelors degree preferred. Licensures/ Certifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse Licensure in the State of Iowa. BLS within 30 days of employment. ACLS/PALS within one year of hire. Experience: One year experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred. Skills and Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills. Motor coordination and manual dexterity required. Adaptable to changing work schedules and patient needs.
