Identify, communicate and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues and decisions throughout the incident management process. Participate in weekly release meetings with technology stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with releases. Collaborate with end users to gather new requirements and address existing gaps. Analyze functional specifications and develop creative solutions to meet business requirements. Work with multiple teams to implement new functionality and push to production on weekly basis. Work closely with project management and marketing teams to define specifications and ensure project acceptance. Use SPLUNK, APICA, and APPDYNAMICS to monitor applications, check logs, and provide enhancements for smooth monitoring. Participate in change management, software configuration management, problem management, incident management, SR testing, and disaster recovery testing. Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot production issues, perform performance tuning and load balancing to ensure applications are available and working properly; participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and outages; respond to alerts and take appropriate actions to restore services quickly. Use DYNATRACE for proactive monitoring and to provide performance metrics for applications. Collaborate with Wolverine and AAAS tasks to automate servers. Proactively work with application teams to identify and fix application gaps to ensure smoothness. Participate in all production releases, work on deployments, certificate renewal; act as liaison between application teams, database and operating system teams. Maintain thorough documentation of systems, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization. Work with application development teams to onboard new applications in the production environment. Collaborate with extended application teams to troubleshoot application and system performance issues. Support architectural changes and leverage new tools that enhance the existing system's performance and rendering. Demonstrate deep knowledge of AWS services and how they can be leveraged to address various use cases. Stay updated on new AWS features and services and assess their applicability to different scenarios. Assist organizations in migrating their on-premises infrastructure to AWS. Develop migration plans, considering factors like data transfer, application dependencies, and downtime minimization. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. Design secure and resilient architecture. Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability. Work with databases, spreadsheets, and other data management tools to organize and structure data for analysis. Apply statistical techniques and data analysis methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Use tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, or specialized data analytics software to analyze and visualize data.

 

Work Location: various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required. Must be willing to relocate.
