Actalent Civil Cad Technician in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

Description:

Responsibilities/Duties:

-Assist in the development of designs, drawings, and specifications for private site development projects and other agencies.

-Work in a teaming environment on complex private development projects and urban infrastructure.

-Assisting on all projects with calculations, drafting boundaries, right of ways, etc...

-Performing engineering analysis, design, calculations, and reports.

Will use MicroStation and/or Civil 3D to do drafting/design depending on the type of project working on.

Will work within their Civil/Site Development

Would get an opportunity to potentially work out in the field at times as well.

Could work on a variety of different projects, including water main, storm water, County Drains, stream bank mitigation, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

  • 3 plus years of experience in the design of land/site development projects, including site layout, grading, sanitary, water main, and storm design

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • AutoCAD skills

  • MicroStation and/or Civil 3D design skills

BONUS:

  • Civil Engineering or similar technical schooling

  • EIT

  • 8 plus years of Civil Design experience
