P/A Industries Inc. Welder/Fabricator in Bloomfield, Connecticut

For nearly 70 years, P/A has delivered innovative machines that provide fabrication solutions across many industries. With a full product line as well as the ability to design, build, test, and install custom equipment, P/A equips and empowers companies to streamline production throughout manufacturing processes.

P/A is currently seeking a Full-Time Welder/Fabricator to join the team!

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge and experience in MIG, TIG, weld prep and plasma cutting.
  • Must be able to trim, grind, de burr, buff and smooth surfaces using hand tools and portable power tools.
  • Ability to analyze engineering drawings and specifications
  • Must be able to layout, fit and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.
  • Inspect assembles and installation for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as calipers and scales.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Technical schooling background (Preferred)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Forklift Experience (Preferred)
