Nestle Import Export Coordinator in Blayney, Australia

In this role, you will be responsible for managing export logistics and all activities related to order preparation, transport organisation, and invoicing. As the Import Export Specialist, you will work closely with our third-party logistics provider to ensure a seamless operational process. You will also serve as the main point of contact for the markets you manage, acting as the voice of the customer. Your goal will be to optimize the end-to-end process, ensuring a high level of service and timely, quality delivery.

In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will also coordinate and develop your team in terms of career management and performance. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, working to bring transversal benefits to the supply planning community.

Key Outputs / Deliverables

  • Send orders based on dispatch plan.

  • Process shipment invoices and credit notes.

  • Manage administrative tasks related to shipments.

  • Arrange and optimize national and international shipments.

  • Find solutions to exportation issues and handle logistics crises.

  • Handle information requests for new market openings.

  • Organize regular calls with markets and address customer complaints.

  • Maintain relationships with logistics customers and provide accurate information.

  • Liaise with key customers to maintain service agreements and build relationships.

  • Manage intermarket physical logistics issues and facilitate integration.

  • Influence warehousing, transport, and export regulation experts for improvement.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and experts to manage proactively.

  • Meet ad-hoc customer requirements and handle supply chain disruptions.

  • Work as part of the supply chain team to improve efficiencies and achieve KPIs.

  • Ensure regular process updates and challenge existing ones.

  • Coordinate improvement processes and ensure compliance with policies.

  • Ensure compliance with Nestlé Corporate Business Principles.

Skills and Experiences

  • University Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain/Logistics.

  • Demonstrated experience in international logistics.

  • Proven import/export knowledge.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in leading international shipment operations across multiple modes of transportation.

  • Knowledge of foreign customs regulations is a plus.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Balances long-term business development with delivering results for shareholders.
