Currently we have a full-time employment opportunity available in our Blairsville, PA facility for a Maintenance Technician. Job Responsibilities Schedule, repair and perform maintenance and preventative maintenance, on machines and associated equipment, cranes and crane hoists, and additional facility equipment. Develop preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and monitor compliance. Maintain sufficient levels of equipment spares for facility. Develop and maintain equipment and facility maintenance inspection records. Complete safety inspections on equipment and repair, as necessary. Assist with Safety, Health and Environmental concerns. Schedule electrical or mechanical installation or repairs with contractors, as needed. Participate in and maintain 6S activitiesareas. Position Requires High school diploma/GED with previous experience maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment. Basic understanding of electricity. Basic understanding of mechanical systems; hydraulics, compressed air, and plumbing. Ability to read and understand blueprints and illustrated drawings. Good verbal communication skills Ability to operate computers systems and programs to develop spreadsheets for inventory, preventative maintenance schedules and repair history. Normal scheduled work hours 5:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Thursday. Individual must be willing and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and/or weekends, when required due to maintenance needs.
