Location: Blaine, MN Wage: $18 - $22 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday 6 am - 3 pm Or 6:30 am 3:30 pm Benefits of the bandsaw operator / material handler: Paid Time Off 401K Paid Holidays Company Parties Room for advancement Stable shop with long-term customers Duties of the bandsaw operator / material handler: Operate computer-based saws with precision for cutting various materials. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure materials meet required specifications. Organize cut metal into totes or pallets for manufacturing processes. Install the correct blade size for each material type and size. Maintain fluid levels in the lubrication system and clear chip collection systems. Address any irregularities or machine malfunctions promptly. Use measuring devices like calipers, tapes, and scales to maintain accuracy. Utilize computer software for managing work orders and logging job completion and material certifications. Requirements of the bandsaw operator / material handler: Demonstrated experience in precision bandsaw operation and material handling. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using measuring devices and basic computer software. Ability to safely operate forklifts and perform manual lifting tasks. Additional Information: Apply today!
