NeuroRestorative, a member of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

Whether you’re just starting out in behavioral health, have recently been impacted by area program closures, or are a caregiver looking to expand your knowledge.... we want to hear from you!

Typical Daily Duties:

  • Work one-on-one with adults with brain injury diagnosis.

  • Provide supports within homelike community setting, helping adults of all abilities to strive.

  • Work closely with families, involving them in the therapeutic process.

  • Work collaboratively with Program Managers, Nursing Team and Behavioral team members to ensure treatment plans are meeting participants needs

  • Deliver therapeutic supervision to participants and families during treatment and education activities

  • Document behavioral progress notes and collaborate with team members

  • This role is highly flexible and can be a primary or secondary job – it can work around your availability. We have a variety of schedules available, including daytime, evening or weekends.

  • Assist in the participant behavior management by using non-aggressive, de-escalation technique provided as part of our hands on training!

Job Requirements:

  • Behavioral caregiver experience (preferred) but not required

  • High school diploma

  • Valid/clean driver's license

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • A good attitude with the ability to work both within a team and independently

  • A caring & compassionate mind

    Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift - we are FLEXIBLE! You can mix-n-match hours as needed.

  • Evening and night shifts

  • Holidays - holiday shifts qualify for additional pay!

  • Monday to Friday and every other weekend

  • Overtime

  • Weekend availability
