City of Bismarck Maintenance Technician in Bismarck, North Dakota

Summary of Position: Days of Work: Monday-Friday but will vary with emergencies and/or weather events. Hours of Work: 8:00 am-4:30 pm but will vary with emergencies and/or weather events. Working with all water and sanitary sewer mainlines and services, performing manual labor, operating equipment, and assisting in the maintenance of water and wastewater pumping stations. You would be required to be on the schedule for on-call, work extended hours and to work some nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma (GED) and 1 year experience in repair and maintenance of water/wastewater or similar systems, which includes pumps, motors, electrical and HVAC or certificate/degree in maintenance related schooling. *Special Requirements: Must have the ability to obtain a valid ND Class A Commercial drivers license within the first year of hire. The inability to obtain this license would terminate employment. *
