Talented Part II Architectural Assistant wanted to join our busy Birmingham studio. We are an in-person client facing business seeking designers to work with and mentor on multiple new projects in the UK and beyond, varying in size. These projects comprise office, rail, and commercial developments for governmental, corporate, and institutional clients.

We want to interview candidates who are enthusiastic, inventive, energetic and have excellent design and visualisation skills. You will be capable in Revit and take pride in working with a team that strives for quality in all areas of design. We are based in our own purpose-built studio in the Mailbox, Birmingham. Our practice thrives on a welcoming and relaxed internal atmosphere, opportunities to engage with interesting projects and the thoughtful exchange of ideas.

  • Work as part of an architectural team to successfully complete tasks/projects

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrate strong design sensitivity and awareness for high quality graphics

  • Production of drawn and graphic information in 2D and 3D

  • Assisting in the delivery of projects through all RIBA work stages at the highest standard

  • Show Awareness of productive team working

Qualifications:

  • Part I and II from a leading school of Architecture

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Show knowledge of one or more sectors, preferably workspace and commercial mixed-use projects

  • Fluent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

  • Revit & AutoCAD capability

  • Creative approach

  • Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Show a keen interest in the built environment

  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work

  • Be able to work under own initiative or as part of a team

  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work at all levels with colleagues

  • Initiative and drive, with a positive attitude

  • Aspiration to work on innovative schemes

  • Excellent Communication skills – both verbally and written

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
