Job Title : Maintenance Engineer (European Travel Required)

Contract type: Permanent, full-time, hybrid system

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and flexible Manufacturing Support Engineer to join our international team. The successful candidate will extensively travel across Europe, providing essential support to our group of manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to various manufacturing sites across Europe, providing on-site technical support and problem-solving expertise.

  • Mechanical Engineering Proficiency: Strong background in mechanical systems, including the ability to repair, maintain, and optimize various types of machinery.

  • Electrical Engineering Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical components and circuitry.

  • Hands-On Technical Skills: Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical hands-on work, with the ability to perform complex repairs and installations.

  • Diagnostics and Problem Solving: Skilled in diagnosing issues in both mechanical and electrical systems and developing effective solutions.

  • Preventive Maintenance Knowledge: Experience in carrying out preventive maintenance to improve equipment longevity and prevent downtime.

  • Technical Documentation: Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints for both mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Safety Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards and regulations in both mechanical and electrical work.

  • Innovative Troubleshooting: Capability to employ innovative approaches to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues.

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship, degree, or diploma in Engineering or related technical field.

  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Ability to travel extensively across Europe, sometimes on short notice.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English. Additional European languages are a plus.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing best practices and safety regulations.

  • Valid driver's license.
