This role is full time, working 40 hours per week. Normal office hours apply with some evening and/or weekend work being required (with advance notice).

We now have an opening for a General Accountant to join our small but busy team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the General Accountant will ensure debts are collected in a timely manner, within the agreed terms for each account, maintaining excellent market knowledge in order to respond immediately to changes in the market which impact on collections. Other roles include general cashiering and banking responsibilities, revenue reconciliation and reviewing Officers, Entertainment and Voids.

Qualifications:

About you:

This role will suit a self-motivated individual. Someone with experience in Hotel/Hospitality within in Accounts Receivable/General Cashiering or income audit. We are looking for someone to join our team who is eager to learn and grow, able to prioritise and is highly organised. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can take ownership of delegated tasks.

You will be passionate about providing the best experience for our people and our clients alike. You will have a sound knowledge of the local environment, be able to think on your feet and engage colleagues, guests and local community with our brand and regency promise.
