Position Overview

To be part of the team reporting to the Chief Engineer / Site training lead. The role involves co-ordinating, creating and delivery of internal regulatory training, and to support the Compliance department with their audit schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly review employee competencies, ensuring no lapses in training for employees across site

  • Deliver regulatory courses each week (Part 145, SMS & ESD)

  • Frequently check for regulatory updates and update our internal training accordingly.

  • Liaise with external companies that deliver training on-site ensuring all spaces are allocated to their courses.

  • Facilitate Collins Induction program for new employees.

  • Provide training data for the Chief Engineer/Head of training.

  • Regularly provide weekly updates of lapsed competencies / training requirements to the affected management

  • Offer support to the business departments and support functions to meet business training requirements.

  • Support the compliance team with the internal audit schedule.

  • Support customer and regulatory surveillance visits and close out of resultant actions

  • Manage any internal corrective actions (ETQ’s) that you have been assigned.

  • Reporting of Key Performance Indicators, undertaking trend analysis and identifying counter measures

Skills

  • An appreciation of aftermarket related certification approvals e.g. AS91XX Series, EASA Pt 145

  • Understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS)

  • Experience in auditing (Lead or Internal auditing certificate)

  • Good presentation skills

  • Experience working with computer based records and tools including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
