Superior Contracting & Maintenance Residential Painter - Interior / Exterior in Birmingham, Alabama

Job Description: Respond to service calls in a timely fashion and demonstrate a courteous, and professional attitude dealing with residents. Safely perform minor drywall repairs and patching. Have strong knowledge of paint and stain products, and paint and stain application techniques. Read and comprehend work order details regarding project scope and material budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

  • Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture

  • Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)

  • Maintain accurate records of all work orders, materials, and time spent on each job on provided portal

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

  • General Liability preferred

  • Must have your own equipment, tools, ladders, and reliable transportation

  • Must have a minimum 5 years of related work experience

  • Must be able to effectively communicate details to Account Managers

  • Proven experience as a painter

  • Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them

  • Conscientious with great attention to detail

  • Living currently in the US
