Deloitte Project Delivery Specialist II - Pega Senior Specialist in Birmingham, Alabama

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients on technology solutions powered by Pega applications

  • Lead a team in the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation of Pega applications

  • Lead the integration strategy and process modernization of legacy systems

  • Brainstorm, design, and prototype solutions while recommending enhancements for enterprise Pega technologies

  • Lead program optimization to work within constructs of an Pega environments

  • Communicate with client leadership on status and milestone achievements

  • Mentor and guide junior level resources on the team

Application Modernization & Innovation consultants leverage the best of innovative technology, people, and delivery approaches to help our clients dream, explore, build, and optimize their future. The AMI practice delivers end-to-end technology solutions to enable and improve our clients' core business operations. AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of experience with the Pega Architecture, systems, platforms, and frameworks

  • 6+ years of experience with Pega modules including Marketing, Sales Automation, Customer Service & other Pega module applications

  • Large scale implementation project experience at the enterprise level for systems that have 5,000+ users

  • Familiarity with Big Data products such as Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka

  • Experience creating assets for workflows within the Pega Systems

  • Must have CSA (Pega Systems Architect) certification

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Role is Remote

  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills

  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations

  • Experience with other programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) or technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 to $190,000.
