Responsibilities

  • Expertise in various systems for operational upkeep, adjustments, repairs, preventive maintenance, changeovers, and lubrication.

  • Perform installation, adjustment, and repairs on machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and other instruments.

  • Execute regular cleaning and lubrication of machine parts.

  • Work under general supervision; take initiative to identify and resolve issues independently, with minimal supervisor follow-up.

  • Respond to daily equipment issues, assist with troubleshooting, and maintain records of problems and resolutions.

  • Follow all safety practices diligently.

  • Be flexible and available for on-call support during after-hours or weekends for service calls.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent (A.A.) in a mechanical/electrical field from a technical school, or at least 1 to 1.5 years of related experience.

  • Desire to learn and become proficient with specialized manufacturing equipment.

  • Basic industrial plumbing and machining skills, including:

  • TIG and ARC welding

  • Operating milling machines and lathes

  • Electrical aptitude in:

  • AC & DC circuit work

  • PLC knowledge and Ladder Logic interpretation

  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics

  • Industrial electrical installation and wiring

  • Mechanical skills, including troubleshooting, drilling/tapping, interpreting technical parts drawings, and understanding mechanical logic.
