As an Internal Audit Manager, you will be within PNC’s Internal Audit organization, supporting the Technology Issues Management (URSIT) Audit team. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

This role would support the Technology Audit Team in validating a regulatory remediation effort. We are looking for individuals that are excited by new processes, can leverage their previous experience to set independent expectations of what good looks like, are confident in providing timely and thoughtful feedback to management and who are willing to support the broader team where needed to make connections and/or meet our overall team goals and objectives.

Job Description

  • Supervises and leads internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, efficiency of operations, and compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Works closely with internal clients at all levels in developing audit findings and recommendations regarding business process optimization, internal control, and compliance. Reviews work papers. Performs complex testing procedures and audit risk and control assessment.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of risk assessments and audit plans. Documents audit work demonstrating command of language, clarity of thought, and orderliness of presentation.

  • Executes procedures and reviews work papers supporting audit of internal controls, business processes, and account balances.

  • Keeps abreast of internal control audit trends to assure audit processes remain effective.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired.
