Heavy Construction Truck Driver Description

  • Drive materials and equipment to and from heavy commercial construction job sites.
  • Must have flat-bed experience, and know how to properly secure loads.
  • Must know how to properly fill out daily inspection reports, IFTA reports, and be familiar with driver's daily log book as well as E-Logs.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screening.
  • Must have clean MVR.
  • Must adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Must be able to work long and unpredictable hours when ask to do so, within the laws of DOT compliance.
  • Position requires extended periods of sitting and driving commercial and industrial trucks.

Experience

  • 3 Years Construction Truck Driver experience required.
  • Class A CDL preferred
  • Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement required.
