Job Description:

At Regions, this position is within the Regions’ Consumer group and leads a team of Branch Business Solutions Relationship Managers that are focused on delivery of credit and a broad range of product/service client solutions. Branch Business Solutions Relationship Managers provide expertise in small business solutions, primarily to our Branch Managers with some direct customer contact through telephone and email. This manager will assist in establishing group objectives and ensures the team best supports branch business banking clients. This leader would have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, as well as comprehensive knowledge of Regions' products and services. Clients are general industry commercial clients with annual revenues less than $3 million.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops sales strategy to meet/exceed stated sales and portfolio goals

  • Provides advice, coaching, and guidance to team members

  • Assists team members with account relationships and guides less-experienced members of the team

  • Ensures adherence to policies and procedures

  • Performs general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions and terminations

  • Evaluates data and service delivery in order to improve processes, ensure resources are properly allocated and to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction

  • Coordinates with internal partners to fulfill the solution agreed to by the client

  • Leads projects to support group operations and execution

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • Six (6) years in a client-facing financial services role

  • Experience leading a team in a sales environment

Preferences

  • Prior business banking sales or relationship management experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Decisiveness and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with necessary technology, including computers, software applications, phone systems, etc.

  • Strong coaching and leadership skills, with an ability to motivate employees

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$88,531.60 USD

Median:

$127,240.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.
