Mirabito Energy Products Wholesale Billing Specialist in Binghamton, New York

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Wholesale Billing Specialist

Reports to: Director of Data Processing/Office Manager

Status: Full-time, Hourly Non-exempt

Hourly Rate: $18 - $20

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- include and are not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate billing records/bookkeeping, process customer billings for assigned area (commercial wholesale business).

  • Provide timely and accurate customer service to internal customers; research and respond to questions/issues related to customer billings as appropriate and when applicable communicate issues to management, account executives and external customers.

  • Process assigned billings according to contracts and price agreements to ensure compliance.

  • Prepare related reports to include, but not limited to customer billings.

  • Remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures 100% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES- include and are not limited to:

  • Ensure billing (daily/weekly/monthly) is completed timely and accurately

  • Ensure proper billing of all transactions 100% of the time.

  • Conduct periodic billing audits to maintain accuracy in work.

  • Reports to work with minimal absenteeism or tardiness.

  • Attend job related training and informational seminars as requested.

  • Performs all other job-related activities and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- include and are not limited to:

  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work independently and on a team, problem solve

  • Possess basic skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Industry experience preferred but not required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Must be available to work overtime as required (including weekends)
