Physician Assistant Pedriatrics, UHS Binghamton General Hospital United Health Services is seeking a Physician Assistant Pedriatrics to join our BGH Pediatrics 04 department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible. Shift: All Shifts

Physician Assistant Pedriatrics / Overview Physician Assistant for DVH Pediatrics. Must be board certified.

To practice a level of medicine that adheres to currently accepted guidelines, portrays the organization in a positive manner to the community, and adheres to ethical and professional standards of regulatory and licensing agencies under general supervision of physicians. Will comply to local, State and Federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program

Preferred:

  • Previous experience as a Physician Assistant

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • NYS license Physician Assistant

  • Registered by the NCCPA

Preferred:

  • Current Drivers License

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in an office environment that requires working in proximity to other employees and patients.

  • The office is air conditioned as well as heated.

  • Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.

  • Fast-paced environment including frequent interruptions.

  • Frequent sitting, walking, standing and bending.

  • Possibility of lifting of patients.

  • Mobility may include access through a multi-level facility, including climbing stairs.

  • PPE- Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, Gloves per UHS Infection Control and CDC guidelines when appropriate.

  • School Age: 6 to 12 Years

  • Adolescent: 13 to 17 Years

  • Early Adulthood: 18 to 45 Years

  • Middle Adult: 46 to 59 Years

  • Late Adult: 60 to 79 Years

  • Elderly: 80+ Years

HIPAA Roles-Based Access to Patient Information

  • Clinical – Access to patient information that is not restricted (an example of restricted information is ARU) – Level 3
