Description

Other Licensed Practitioner (OLP)/Clinician works under the direction of the CFTSS Supervisor. The Clinician is responsible for providing high quality service to children and their families in a variety of community-based services. The job duties include, but are not limited to: scheduling visits with children and families, planning high-quality services that address the goals in the treatment plan, intakes, treatment planning, providing direct therapy to kids and families in care, and working cooperatively with other professionals involved on each case.

Positions are either part time (10-29 hours weekly), or full time (35 hours weekly).

Full time positions, when available, are eligible for benefits.

This position is available throughout the Northern and Southern NY region (applicants would primarily work out of the county in which they live).

Responsibilities:

· Provide high-quality, well-informed therapy to children and families.

· Complete intakes and assessments

· Complete all required documentation.

· Participate in Team Meetings to advocate and support the child and family when needed; communicate ideas and feedback on treatment plan to create a comprehensive and accurate strategy for care.

· Work with Supervisor and Medicaid Liaison to complete monthly schedules for visits; adhere to schedule and communicate with team when there are changes.

· Attend supervisions and staff meetings as needed and requested.

· Work cooperatively with the Supervisor, Medicaid Managed Care Liaisons, and potential Care Manager, on each case in order to maintain the best quality of care for the child and family.

· Travel both into the community and into a family’s home in order to carry out responsibilities.

This position is unique in terms of compensation.Bi-weekly performance based bonusesare available to those who qualify, earning from $30/ hour up to $60/hour. This opportunity can be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

· Must be a Licensed Behavioral Health Practitioner as defined by the State of New York. This includes individuals licensed and able to practice independently as a: Licensed Psychoanalyst, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), and Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

· Basic computer skills including Microsoft word, excel and email.

· Valid and clean NYS driver’s license, with reliable transportation

· Ability to be flexible, empathetic, and work both independently and on a team

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

· Creative ability to plan and execute engaging activities'

Work Location: Hybrid (On the road throughout the county when providing direct services)
