This Position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN LVN  with a company in Biloxi.

 

Job Summary: Matrix Providers is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN LVN to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in at Keesler Medical Center in Keesler AFB, Mississippi.

 

Duties And Responsibilities: Assist with various endoscopic procedures. Prepare and clean endoscopic equipment. Educate patients on endoscopic procedures. Provide care to variable patient populations. Administer medications and perform treatments according to established procedures. Recognize and respond to urgent patient care situations. Support complex diagnostic tests and specialized procedures. Orient peers and ancillary personnel to unit policies and procedures.

 

Education and Qualifications: Degree: Certificate Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Experience: Minimum of one year of practical/vocational nursing experience required, with gastroenterology experience within the previous 24 months. Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse. Additional Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider course or equivalent based on national guideline.
