BILLINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT 2 GENERAL DUTY ASSISTANT (PART TIME) in BILLINGS, Montana

Billings School District 2 is seeking General Duty Assistants for Ben Steele Middle School. DUTIES: Assist in the control and care of students in classrooms, halls, lunchrooms, and playground. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: Monitor students behavior in halls, lunchrooms and playground; performs all necessary duties to aide children needing critical care; assists children eating lunch and performing necessary clean-up tasks. Performs related work requested or as required by supervisor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge: Basic practices in effective discipline and safety awareness. Skills: Adherence to schedules. Experience: Success in working with groups of children. Hours: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri) and 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (Wednesday). 2 hours per day. Wage: $13.50 per hour for 120 days; then $15.00 per hour regular pay.
