AMERICA FIRST RESPONSE Comfort Car Driver in BILLINGS, Montana

Position Title: Comfort Car Driver Reports to: President Summary: AFR Comfort Car Drivers are responsible for responding to requests for service, transporting patients, transferring care of patients, and documenting these activities with Radio Dispatch. Primary Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. 1. Supports the AFR philosophy, mission, and core values. 2. Provides prompt, courteous transportation services to patients who lack the means of transportation or who require transportation assistance to and/or from facilities, private residents, or practice locations. 3. Adheres to the motor vehicle regulations of Montana. 4. Responsible for providing transportation services to patients in an orderly, safe and timely manner. 5. Must be able to organize trips to provide effective and efficient transports for the client. 6. Performs pre-shift vehicle safety inspection. 7. Responsible for maintaining daily record of trips, mileage and gas/oil. 8. Responsible for the cleaning of the interior and exterior of the vehicles. Secondary Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Age: 18 years or older. Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Experience: Six months of ?Driver? experience preferred, but not required Other: The ability to perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. The individual must also demonstrate strong communication/organizational skills and computer abilities. Certification(s)/License(s): ? CPR/AED or ability to receive the certification. ? Class C Driver?s License Human Relations / Contact and Communications: The Comfort Car Driver will have direct contact with patients. Diplomacy, tact, sensitivity and confidentiality are required at all times. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: This position requires many hours of driving and assisting patients to and from the vehicle. Applicant cannot have physical requirements that would preclude them from performing these functions. Good vision is imperative. The driver must be able to read, understand and apply departmental instructions relevant to the job function. Possess ability to interact effectively with staff and patients, plan, organize and execute daily duties in a precise, yet flexible manner and possess physical and mental stamina to perform assigned work.
