ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLEGE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL AID in BILLINGS, Montana

Rocky Mountain College, a small, private, comprehensive institution grounded in the liberal arts, located in Billings, Montana, is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Financial Aid. Key Responsibilities include: - Compile and analyze data, - Maintain monthly data reports tracking institutional aid and scholarships; - Provide financial aid advising services to prospective student, current students, and parents covering all aspects of the financial aid process; - Responsible for formulating both individualized correspondence and form letters in response to students' inquiries regarding all aspects of the scholarship and financial aid process; - Review the accuracy of financial aid data and verify information with supporting documentation; - Assist in coordinating, awarding, and processing of federal, institutional and external student aid programs including grants, scholarships, and loans; and - Assist with Direct Loan processing (check and validate accuracy of federal and private loans certification/ processing/ payments). Position Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience. - Must be self-directed and able to work well with students, faculty, and staff. - Experience in higher education, specifically within financial aid is a plus. - Is curious, driven to serve students, able to prioritize and think strategically, and able to see the big picture while keeping a close eye on the details. - Has proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and perform well on deadline as well as on long-term projects.
