Summary of Position:

Under the supervision of the Director of Safety, Health, Environmental and Risk Management, develop, implement and maintain safety programs in support of the University's mission and in compliance with University policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations and standards to ensure the environmental health and safety of students, employees and visitors. Work in coordination with the campus community while providing guidance and consultation to University personnel regarding health and safety issues, such as, but not limited to, laboratory safety and health, hazardous materials, medical surveillance, MiOSHA regulations, lockout/tagout, respiratory protection, fire safety, etc.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field (i.e. public health, chemistry, biology, or physics). Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
