Summary of Position:

The Ferris Library for Information, Technology, & Education (FLITE) at Ferris State University (Big Rapids, Michigan) seeks a collaborative, innovative, dynamic, and services-oriented Director of Library Services and Operations, a colleague with an entrepreneurial spirit who embraces the challenge of continuous digital change. Following library best practices and guided by the University and college strategic plan, the incumbent manages services and operations and shares in the development of services and personnel committed to accessibility, equity, and inclusion in a user-focused, information center designed for teaching, learning, and academic success. This is a 12-month, administrative position reporting to the Dean. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a competitive benefits package. The anticipated start date for this position is July 1, 2023. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
