Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing various finishing operations as qualified in a fast-paced medical manufacturing environment while strictly adhering to all applicable safety and quality policies. In addition, this position is expected to meet production standards as reflected in the ERP system. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles. 2. Interpret applicable blueprints and follow all manufacturing processes and procedures. 3. Complete required documentation for all applicable jobs. 4. Perform work under a microscope. 5. Perform as qualified: a. Repetitive deburring operations of removing surface defects from a number of parts using manual and/or electric tools b. General cleaning of parts c. Operate various mass finishing equipment d. Assembly of components e. Packaging parts f. Laser marking g. Bending/Broaching h. Heat treat i. Blasting j. Other secondary operations as needed 6. Participate in continuous improvement activities. 7. Perform set-up of basic operations. 8. Independently change jobs and perform line clearance between jobs. 9. Inspect deburred parts to ensure conformance to quality specifications, using gauges, microscopes and other measuring tools as required. Follow procedures as needed to address non-conformities. 10. May cross-train other employees on basic operations. 11. Other duties as assigned
