Power Integrations PCB Designer in Biel, Switzerland

PCB Designer Biel, Switzerland- 100%

To strengthen our R&D team in Biel, Switzerland, we are recruiting a PCB Designer / PCB Layout Engineer / PCB Layout Technician with industry experience (on-site). Main responsibilities:

  • Create schematics, layouts and BOM of new products and product variants with Altium Designer

  • Close collaboration with design and manufacturing engineers

  • Maintaining libraries (schematic, PCB, 3D) and local component database related to Altium Designer

  • Creation of all necessary production documentation for new products and product variants

  • Implementation of new products and new product variants in PLM (production database)

  • 3D constructions

  • Carrying out low-voltage measurements, in particular type test measurements

  • Research, laboratory/mechanical work and support to product development engineers

  • Participate in the evaluation of new Altium Designer releases and associated softwares

    Requirements:

  • Technical education in electronic/electrical engineering

  • Min 5 years of professional experience as a PCB Layouter in the industry

  • Experience with schematics and layout

  • Experience with databases and libraries

  • Experience with low voltage measurements

  • Knowledge of Altium Designer layout software

    Social skills:

  • English spoken and written

  • Sense of responsibilities

  • Team and communication skills

  • German or French is a plus
