       Mathematics Teacher Biddeford Regional Center of Technology, a secondary career and technical education school, is seeking a dynamic, creative instructor to teach math to our students in grades 9-12. We are seeking an individual that would contribute to a positive work environment, is passionate about math and teaching, and wants to make a difference in students' lives. This position will also oversee our math intervention program, teach 2 dual enrollment technical math classes, and coach or co-teach with our program instructors to use effective math strategies. Additional class offerings may be designed when need arises. We are seeking a candidate with the following:

  • Teach courses in mathematics using the course of study adopted by BRCOT, including developing students' basic mathematical skills, an understanding of the structure of mathematics, and motivate students to apply mathematical understanding and skills to practical, real-world problems

  • Possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, and conduct a comprehensive teaching and instruction program for secondary level students

  • Possess knowledge of principles, theories, methods, techniques, and strategies pertaining to the teaching and instruction of secondary level pupils; academic, social, and behavioral characteristics of secondary level pupils

  • Ability to apply effective classroom management techniques

  • Teach dual enrollment technical math classes
