Title and Summary

Director, Product Management - Acceptance Solution

Overview:

In partnership with regional Global and regional Acceptance teams and cross-functional partners, Acceptance Product Management works to expand merchant acceptance and help merchants and acquirers grow their businesses through Acceptance solutions and programs. Acceptance is a foundational pillar of Mastercard’s success, complementing our technology, franchise, brand and customer relationships to support and grow Mastercard’s network.

The Director of Acceptance Product Management is a high-exposure role, working alongside senior leadership and executive teams to shape Mastercard’s global acceptance strategy, lead projects that drive Global Acceptance priorities and advance opportunities to grow. The role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, product management, and analytics. The Director requires an agile and flexible approach as you will work alongside a wide range of cross-functional partners to define and pursue Regional Acceptance priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Acceptance products creations process , strategy , pricing , pilots' implementation and support Acceptance leads GTM

• Design and create new acceptance products aligned with the strategy, market needs and KPI’s , throughout design face ,implementation , productization , Studio process , Legal scans , market test and support

• Distribution and communication of all Thought Leadership/Best Practice Sharing

• Rollout support for all acceptance solutions, products and initiatives.

• Lead the end-to-end Product Development lifecycle for our new authorization improvement products, including gathering insights, outlining strategy, developing KPIs, creating a go-to-market strategy, defining the customer experience/journey, and working in partnership with the Delivery and Technology teams to deliver roadmap capabilities.

• Draft and keep current go-to-market materials such as bulletins, sales, and training materials to support new and enhanced products in Central Hub

• Own the creation of Sales training, collateral & Marketing initiatives to elevate Acceptance products.

• Regional and Market Execution Support: for distribution partners’ discussions, RFPs, and external conferences

• Full technical and business required support for all Acceptance solutions and Products such as TOP , Cloud Commerce , QR L2P , MCQR , etc.. , Markets engagements support , GTM , Customer facing , reasonability and KPI’s accountability

• Products knowledge, ensuring consistent Acceptance products narrative across teams ( regional and globally )

• Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence various teams at the global and local level; key stakeholders include CSC, Acceptance leads, Legal, Finance, Market Development, Account Management, Customer Experience, Marketing, and other product teams

Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong product and problem-solving acumen

• Proven sales, negotiation, communication skills

• Team player, comfortable working in a large matrix organization, willing to lead and build consensus

• Excellent technical experience

• Excellent understanding of acceptance and products

• Good business and GTM proven experience

• Determined to get things done in time

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where rapid or sudden changes are not unusual

• Outstanding product and project management skills

• MBA or equivalent a plus.
