Insight Global Deployment Technician in Beverly, New Jersey

Job Description

One of our largest off-price retail clients based in South Jersey is looking to hire a fully remote deployment technician to join their store service team. The team is responsible for upgrading store registers and point of sale systems to a new platform. Each technician will be responsible for every register in the store (9-12) and will be assigned 1 store per day. They will be communicating with the store manager and a third party technician to walk them through the process. The third party technician will have a thumb drive containing the new imaging, once imaging is complete the deployment technician will configure and then test the register. They will be configuring three registers at a time and then will move on to the rest if testing goes well.

Skills and Requirements

  • Previous experience troubleshooting a register or POS system

  • 1+ years of overall IT experience

  • Desire to pursue a career in IT

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism

  • Must be willing to work 4, 10 hours shifts, M-Thurs 5AM-3PM (flexible) null
