Responsibilities

Position Summary: Job Function - General:     • Assists supervisor to ensure that production operators have sufficient stock of materials.     • Collects, checks and keeps records of materials flow to and from production area. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. Knowledge and Skills Requirements:     • Required to apply advanced working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization.     • Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action.     • Performs advance shop floor competencies. Supervision Given and Received: Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers. Contacts/Cooperation:     • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers.     • Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors. General: It shall be the duty of every employee while at work to take reasonable care for safety and health of himself/herself and other persons. Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc Education and Professional Knowledge:     • High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required     • 0-0.5 years related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.     • Applicable industry/professional certification required.     • Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed

Problem Solving:     • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
