Are you a results-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our team as Plant Controller! In this key leadership role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes and providing valuable financial insights for our manufacturing operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining compliance, driving cost control, and contributing to strategic decision-making. Here's what you'll do: Oversee the entire accounting cycle:Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including monthly statements, annual budgets, and inventory control. Financial analysis expert:Conduct in-depth analysis of cost data, develop cost-of-goods information, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement. Ensure financial accuracy:Lead audits and reviews to ensure adherence to GAAP standards and identify areas for optimization. ERP system champion:Leverage our existing ERP system (Infor Visual Mfg.) and guide the implementation of a new system (MS D365). Strong collaboration:Build strong relationships with the Operations team, providing financial expertise and trusted guidance. Team leadership:Lead and mentor the Cycle Counter/Inventory Analyst, fostering a culture of excellence. We're looking for someone with: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (Master's degree a plus). Proven experience in a process manufacturing environment with strong cost accounting skills. Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting in an ERP environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization. Experience with accounting software (Visual & MS D365 a plus).
