ABEC, Inc. Electrical Assembler- 2nd shift in BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania

Description

As an ABEC Electrical Assembler you will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to testing, building and modifying various types of electrical equipment and components by reading and interpreting drawings.

 

Responsibilities

• Fabricate electrical equipment according to drawings

• Receive components and confirm against drawing and/or list of materials or quality standards

• Solder/fit/assemble components

• Fabricate specialty parts

• Recommend improvements

• Conduct operations in a safe manner

• Follow all safety rules and policies

• Inspect fabrications for quality, safety, and operation as requested

• Audit equipment against drawings as requested

• Prepare equipment for shipment

• Support fabrications for quality, safety and operation as requested

• Audit equipment against drawings as requested

• Prepare equipment for shipment

• Support start up and equipment repair as requested

• Trouble short and repair systems as requested

• Execute other tasks as assigned

• Domestic and International Travel is required

 

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2 years post graduate in Manufacturing

• 2 years' experience in Electrical Assembly or Industrial Controls

• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./ 23 kilograms

• Typical work is in a manufacturing environment or customer's site

• Required to stand for long periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor.

• You will need to be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull,

and carry items.

• Exposure to loud noises

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment
