Position Overview

The Principal Manager/Associate Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a full-time, professional role providing a range of financial support to the growth and effective management of the DAI.

The Principal Manager/Associate Director, Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for the Corporate indirect expense management, indirect rate analysis and reporting, and supporting global monthly financial reporting, annual budget, and periodic forecasting processes. The role requires the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, extreme attention to detail, clear communication skills and consistently accurate, high quality financial analyses.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities

Indirect Cost and Rate Management

· Oversee the corporate indirect expense budgets

· Coordinate with all budget owners to understand and analyze the functional departments' monthly/quarterly financial results (vs. forecast, prior year, budget) and clearly articulate themes and performance drivers; this includes driving efforts to understand root cause of variances and making recommendations to enhance business performance.

· Perform DAI’s monthly / quarterly indirect rate forecasting and variance analysis

· Own and build on current models to estimate NICRA rates

· Support DAI’s Indirect Cost management processes to include preparation of annual NICRA rates proposal and Incurred Cost Submission (ICS).

· Review of indirect cost models withCost Accounting Standards (CAS)requirements

· Assist in management of Disclosure Statements (DS) and cost audits

Financial Analysis and Reporting

· Support annual and monthly indirect budgeting and forecasting process including monitoring of KPI’s

· Assist with the Company’s annual budget and periodic forecast processes

· Assist with preparation of quarterly Board presentations.

Financial Processes Improvement, Ad Hoc Reporting and Analyses, and Special Projects

· Manage or perform periodical or ad hoc financial data analysis, queries, reconciliations and reports as needed from DAI’s senior management or to satisfy external client or audit requests;

· Assistance in systems establishment and maintenance of new organizations, new department, business units, or projects.

· Assistance in management of intercompany transactions.

Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

· Grade P7: Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in financial planning and analysis and a college degree. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

· Grade P8: Minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience in financial planning and analysis and a college degree. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

· Financial analysis expertise working with US government contracts.

· Experienced working with US Government Cost Accounting.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Demonstrated experience with financial modeling.

· Ability to influence and work in a support role.

· Ability to work independently and under high pressure.

· High level of computer literacy with advance Excel skills,which should include use of formulas, pivot tables, and/or creating charts.

· Knowledgeable of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

· Must be hands-on, self-directed with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks/competing deadlines simultaneously.

· Able to handle confidential and/or sensitive information with discretion.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

· Demonstrated ability to work in diverse teams, create inclusive work environments, and work effectively within a culturally diverse environment.

· Prior experience implementing SAP S4/HANA enterprise resource planning system.

· Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

· *Based in one of the following U.S. locations where DAI is registered: District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington

Preferred, but not required:

· Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline.

· Experience with Power BI or similar tool.

· Prior experience working for a US Government contracting firm.

· Experience with Government contract accounting, audits, indirect rates and related compliance

· Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Compensation & Benefits:

At the P7 level: For employees working the United States, the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $118,614- $145,863.

At the P8 level: For employees working the United States, the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,407- $167,743.

Salary for part-time employees will be prorated based on actual hours worked. Actual offers will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant education, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Eligible U.S. based employees, will be able to enroll in medical, dental and vision insurance, plus a 401(k)-retirement plan with a company match. Additionally, employees will be eligible for company-paid annual leave (vacation & holidays), sick leave, parental leave; as well as short- and long-term disability coverage. Detailed information will be provided at the time a formal offer is extended.

For employees working outside of the United States, compensation and benefits will vary based on location.
