As a Packer, you will p lace the correct number of units in the proper case configuration and carton according to the customer specifications while observing safety and quality standards.

Areas of Responsibilities :

PACKAGING QUALITY:

  • Accurate count according to specifications

  • Ensures that UPC, case label, weight, and code are correct to production schedule

    FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY:

  • Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations to ensure safe and quality products

  • Complete product changeovers as dictated by specifications

  • Complete daily and weekend cleaning

  • Complete proper documentation

    WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform weekly and weekend cleaning on equipment and surrounding areas

  • Work with cleaning chemicals

  • Always utilize all required PPE

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision

  • Attend all required training sessions

  • Work overtime as required

  • Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping Practices), as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

  • Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications

    Education and Experience:

  • GENERAL EDUCATION

  • ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION

    P REFERRED:

  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.
