Google News Partnerships Manager (English, German) in Berlin, Germany

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in a media industry.

  • Experience in partnerships management with partners in a media industry.

  • Experience with data analysis and offer calculations.

  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in project management.

  • Experience working with/executing complex content agreements.

  • Experience working in regulated industries.

  • Proficient in relevant software and analytics tools.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

  • Support the planning and execution of the News Partnerships strategy, addressing Google’s opportunities with News publishers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH).

  • Drive product and content negotiations with strategic partners, collaborating with Product and Legal.

  • Work on different approaches for strategic partners, with the view to improve and deepen the collaboration with the partners including at executive level.

  • Participate in the roll out of Google’s News industry programs like the Google News Initiative (GNI), and propose strategies and provide insights.
