What you can expect

Our unit Business Reporting I is responsible for the development of reports using BI-tools, as well as for the development of back end structures for BI-data consumption.

  • Within this framework, you develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analyses and other strategies.

  • You modify databases according to requests, perform tests and design conceptual as well as logical data models and flowcharts.

  • Further, you optimize DB-performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.

  • You liaise with your IT colleagues to improve applications and establish best practices.

  • Finally, you locate and define new process improvement opportunities, suggesting new database products and services.

What we expect

  • university degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and ideally work experience as a data engineer or database developer

  • practical experience in parallel programming with Python, and/or C++, Java

  • knowledge of Database Design (SQL), Data Collection, Data Warehousing and Data Transformation as well as a good understanding of ETL (Alteryx, Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory)

  • understanding of the use of graphs for knowledge representation and data integration at large scale as well as first experience with graph algorithms and working ontologies

  • creative and motivated team player with sound English skills

  • comfortability in working in multinational interdisciplinary teams and preferably international experience
