Job Title Forklift Technician (2nd shift) Job Family Job Description HYG is looking for an energetic individual who will have a positive influence on the 4-7 Ton Assembly line team. As a Forklift ( SPED) Technician, you will have the opportunity to repair, weld, assemble trucks and subcomponents, inspect and modify trucks, and perform preventative maintenance and service equipment to maintain proper working order. Key accountabilities include: - Weld, repair and assemble lift trucks and components.- Inspect and modify trucks- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment- Safe behavior and safe operation of equipment- Perform service on equipment as needed, as scheduled or as directed- Proper care of tools, equipment, materials and facility and maintain general housekeeping.- Accept responsibility for quality of work performed- Proper documentation - identify and maintain compliance with ISO standards.Minimum qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required standards.- 2 + years mechanical experience- General knowledge of assembly, tools, and welding process (must pass weld test)- Ability to read and make decisions from SOE's, OMS, shop orders, operation sheets, prints, diagrams, and written and verbal instructions.- Basic mathematical skills- Effective communication and written skills- Technical skills- Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment- Familiar with DFT techniquesWe are an equal opportunity employer with an excellent benefit package including medical, dental and life insurance, 401(k) and profit sharing.
