Job Title: Technical Specialist - Senior Developer - Java (Quality Engineering Focus)
Location: Remote
Contract Length: 6 - 18 Months.
Pay Range: $75/hr. - $80/hr.
We are looking for a skilled Technical Specialist - Senior Developer with expertise in Java development and quality engineering - to join our team. This role requires a strong foundation in test automation frameworks, test case design, and close collaboration with developers and backend partners to enhance testing reliability for large-scale applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement automated testing scripts using Java-based frameworks to support feature, regression, end-to-end (E2E), and smoke testing.
• Utilize tools like Appium, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, Git/GitHub, and JIRA for test automation and tracking.
• Design and create test scenarios and cases with a focus on quality processes and concepts.
• Troubleshoot complex web/mobile automated testing failures using both industry-standard frameworks and custom tooling, collaborating with developers for efficient triage.
• Work closely with backend partners to troubleshoot dependencies and enhance E2E testing reliability.
• Independently ensure the timely and successful delivery of test cases while maintaining high-quality standards.
